I get 17 rolls of film back from the lab tomorrow. They contain all of London, Miami and Chicago. Shooting film again really does bring me back. There’s something to be said about not knowing for sure that you have the shots… but trusting that you do.
I really hope I do.
Nothing like sitting at a tiny table at The Whiskey in Chicago with 3 awesome cinematographers (Stephen Goldblatt, ASC; Rodney Charters, ASC; Nancy Schreiber, ASC) and conversing with them about the changes in filmmaking and listening to them recount stories from their 40-something years of experience (EACH!) to really put things into perspective.
As part of the HDDSLR “revolution”...
